My Senior Exception

Due to a whole host of unfortunate circumstances, the last couple years has seen a drastic reduction in the amount of work I was willing to take on.  I really enjoy High School Senior sessions, but they are quite involved and so didn’t fit my reduced schedule.  This lovely lady here was my exception this season, however.  She’s been waiting literally for years to have her Senior Session with me, after seeing the results of her older brother’s session.  This was such a great experience!  I got to shoot in one of my favorite northern locations: Lewisville Park up in Battle Ground, and both the weather AND my sassy subject were delightful!

Sunny Senior Session

This was one of the fun sessions I arranged during my last Seattle trip a couple weeks ago.  C will be a senior in the fall and as she had a very busy summer planned wanted to get her Senior Portrait Session done early.  All shooting was done on her family’s property and the neighbor’s.  So much variety and such a beautiful day!

Her beloved mare was celebrating her 5th birthday and got to star in some photos :)

Time for some arty, sun-flare shooting…

Grace in front of the camera

Lovely Grace’s official title is Intern or Photo Assistant or Model or Admin Assistant.  She wears a lot of hats at Bagdanoff Photo.  But over all, she is Awesome.  She wanted some kicky new portraits for her new blog and other various uses.  All locations used were within walking distance of the Academy Building and include: the I-5 bridge, railway underpass, W 4th street murals and Esther Short Park.  I’ve never climbed around so much for a portrait shoot, but it was worth the danger.  I’ve also experimented a bit in post with my two newest texture overlays, fun!

Portraits Because

In this age of Facebook, Myspace, blogs, webpages, etc. what is a 20-something to do for great profile images? Why come see me, of course :) This photoshoot of handsome M was done in less than an hour and he now has a great assortment of edgy portraits! (And a couple for his mother to hang on her wall…)

Sassy Senior

Due to the explosion of weddings this summer we put our Senior Portrait sessions on hold this year. The exception being the lovely MP who we have been on board to shoot for over a year. This was our first chance to use the amazing out-buildings right on the grounds of our new office. MP was incredible; so fun, sassy & pose-happy and after so many weddings it was great to stretch our creativity in a new direction.
